Ingredients

• 400 mlwhole milk
• 100 mldouble cream
• 60 gcaster sugar
• 50 gdigestive biscuits (mix-in)
• 2 tbspstrawberry jam (mix-in)

Method

1. 1. Combine the milk, cream and caster sugar in a jug or blender and whisk or blend until the sugar has completely dissolved.
2. 2. Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint tub, secure the lid and freeze on a level surface for 24 hours.
3. 3. Remove the lid, place the tub in the outer bowl and lock it into the Ninja Creami machine, then select the Ice Cream programme and run it.
4. 4. Once the programme has finished, use a spoon to make a hole about 3 cm wide down the centre of the pint, reaching to the bottom.
5. 5. Crumble the digestive biscuits into the hole and spoon in the strawberry jam.
6. 6. Return the tub to the machine and run the Mix-in programme until everything is evenly combined, then serve straight away.
